I so enjoyed the meditative process of painting macarons when I worked on “Miam”, that I decided to do it again. Thinking I’d get all wrapped up in playing with the varied textures and bright colors. And so I did. Then I spent two entire days with the braided trivet, which I’m thinking might just be more time than it took for that trivet to actually be manufactured IRL. So here they are in all their sugary glory, complete with a couple of nice trivet close-ups for ya.
Hand-painted digitally with the ArtRage Vitae app.
All prints are professionally crafted, Deep Matte Giclée prints, made with Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks on Lexjet Matte paper. Each is printed with a one-inch border. Frame not included.
